Boys & their toys aye? Anoop from Time Out Sydney took the time out (kekeke) to drop into Zen today to A) Check out our space, and B) play with his new toy. It’s a Parrot AR.Drone, available through the Apple Store, it uses your iPhone or iPad as a controller (you just tilt your iPad to steer it) and it also has cameras all over it, pretty amazing stuff!
This amazing thing is controlled by your iPad. It has cameras all over it, the idea is to watch the ipad to control it, and not watch the actual drone itself (spy camera anyone?!).
It’s amazingly stable in flight. I was crap at controlling it, but Anoop was awesome (hey it’s his toy!).
So awesome!
