WTAC is such a massive event, and it’s impossible to cover everything, so today I decided to focus on the 2 cars and teams we’re sponsoring this year; the Zen/BPG R32 GT-R and JDMyard’s DC5R, both competing in Open Class.

LOTS more people than yesterday! A bit smokey in the morning due to bush fires, but the weather cleared up nicely.

The Zen/BPG BNR32. 1:38 put the boys in 18th in their class. 38th overall.

Adam getting a push from the Nulon girls.

Hayley Swanson’s FD. Her best time was a 1.47, now her PB!

Kneel and pray.

Hayley Swanson and Kristi.

Slap or grab?

The JDMyard DC5R.

Adam had a hard time in the office. Running over spilt oil on the circuit, oil from a full oil catch can leaking onto the passenger tyre and a lack of track time. He still managed to pilot the car to a killer 1.37 which placed the team 14th in their class and 32nd overall.

The drift display using the whole circuit was amaaaazing. I was on the pitt wall at the time too, shards of fibreglass flew everywhere when Driftsquid touched the wall. I thought I was going to die, then got screamed at by officials to get off the wall (lol).

I’ve never heard an F40 start up. To my surprise the car was whisper quiet!

Still at the top of my list. Be still my beating heart.

With Nemo down, Luke Huxham (who was flown out from Japan to film Nemo) got busy shooting other things.

As the event ended the guys from Downshift asked if they could shoot my GT-R on the circuit.

Entering the circuit got me so geed up to do a flying lap lol, pretty sure I would have been banned from EC for life if I went for it.

That thirst-quenching Zen.
