This year the rally moved from Olbia on the east coast to Alghero on the west coast, from all reports a good move as Alghero is quite the hub of activity at this time of year.
The rally itself is quite demanding, long transport stages, as well as the longest stage on the entire calendar being 59km, along with the brutal rough slippery surface the teams where in for a long rough week, although when you have Alghero and its party atmosphere as your backdrop it makes life alot easier for everyone.

The WRC moves to Poland for the next round, Michael wont be there but he is trying to get to Germany in August, if not we will see him back in Europe after Rally Australia for Rally France and Spain.
