The rear-wheel drive converted GReddy 35RX produces over 1000 horsepower from a heavily modified Nissan VR38DETT engine. Menacing and dominant, the combination of Kawabata and 35RX have produced an unreachable point’s lead in the fifth and penultimate round of D1 Grand Prix.
The lead means Kawabata claims his third championship victory without needing to compete in the final round. Faster, closer and with deeper angle, Kawabata will battle once more on Tokyo’s Odaiba Circuit in late October.
