Autorush has been run and won! Held at The Dome at Sydney Olympic Park over the past 2 days, the show was a total trip out, a blast from the past which for many brought up fond memories of Autosalon.
We’re all exhausted, and need to catch up on much rest, but for now enjoy the following snap shots from the event. Here’s hoping Autorush comes back bigger next year!
The Dome, early morning on Day 1.
The Zen Stand; situated right next to the main stage, we had my GT-R on display as well as the Acquired Taste boys.
The dyno was just in front of us too.
George Nova’s Lambo Grey RB26 powered S15.
Nico’s Maserati won the myPlates award for best plates of the show.
The Zen Sponsored WTAC S14 of Heasman’s Steering also took out a trophy.
Straight outta 2000! Check that TV screen in the boot, some new European cars come with bigger screens standard these days!
Just a couple of the wild bikes on show.
FATZED at the Concept Garage stand, a work in progress!
Zen Sponsored Driver Trent Grubel and the Top Class Tyres WTAC WRX, look out for this car (with Trent at the wheel) at WTAC next year!
Top Class Tyres S2K, the hero of the show.
Brian’s mad little civic! Would thrash!
All Motor (as in, that’s pretty much all you can see from the outside, or from the drivers seat!) S15.
What a spin out, right? Was great to see Danny there, beaming from ear to ear.
Carbon everywhere on this R8 by Jerry at J Racing in Canberra.
V8 in this Hyundai Excel (which is rear wheel drive too!).
The only bike on show that wasn’t a chopper.
Rarest Rose took out a trophy for this S15, check that grey, it’s so much lighter than the usual grey resprays I’ve seen, was absolutely killer in real life.
Nicest kit car I’ve seen in forever!
The guys at Phat Wraps were situated next to the Zen Stand.
The Trophies, ready for the ceremony at the very end of Day 2 (earlier today).
Chief from Acquired Taste picked up a trophy for his TR11PN EVO.
So too Angelo with his EVO! Well done boys!
And the big one; Ved won 2 trophies for his wiebody R32 Golf! So happy for him, super proud of Danny from Concept Garage for all the hard work and making the deadline too.
