We had a HUGE day shooting 2 VERY rare motorcycles yesterday at UNO Studios in Alexandria. Jordan of UNO Studios is a bike guy and let us know that there was a 1 of 6 (in the country) KTM Brabus 1300 R Masterpiece Edition’s that he could get his hands on if we wanted to shoot it.
Fuck yeah we want to shoot it!
What’s even more nuts is that he also suggested that we shoot a fresh out of a crate MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RR Assen too, suggesting that both bikes have most likely never been in the same room together, ever.
Both bikes were supplied by David Song, owner of Moto Machine, a motorcycle dealership with a Royal Enfield global store and service department in Clyde and an MV Agusta and Husqvarna showroom in Marrickville. Was so awesome to meet and hang with David, we clicked within minutes. The guy is the real deal. He’s so many things in one; a mechanic, photographer, designer and above all a rider.
Enjoy these Behind The Scenes (BTS) photos. Look out for Nick’s final photos in a future Find Your ZEN feature and find Adam’s BTS videos on our socials.
Much thanks to all involved (please follow us!):

Holy shitballs Batman! The first bike to arrive was the BRABUS 1300 R Masterpiece Edition which is even rarer than the Edition 23. The Masterpiece edition comes in Onyx Black and Diamond White with only 25 units of each colour available globally (there’s only one of each colour in Australia).
Check that taillight design. The second bike to arrive was the MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RR Assen.
Always a pleasure to watch Nick set up the studio. First bike on set was the KTM Brabus.
A touch of ZEN.
Moody AF. Dark bike calls for a dark shoot. Having the freedom to shoot how we like is where it’s at.
Pub lunch break!
Next bike on the set was the MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RR Assen.
The bike comes with a special box of goodies, basically everything you need to convert your bike into a track weapon (Ti exhaust, single seat cowl and even a race ECU).
Netting on the tips is to stop kitty litter from going up your pipes if you have a fall.
From ZEN customer back in the Leichhardt days to ZEN contributor, was great to have Adam on board to shoot BTS videos.
Dave brought his leathers, so we thought, why not?!
He also brought this amazing helmet which he designed himself.
Aero tuck!
And it’s a wrap! Well, almost. It’s becoming a tradition, maybe, but Nick ended the shoot by taking a couple of film shots.
