With the new bushings in, and a bent control arm replaced (all work done at JDMyard) it was time for Dale from DM Motorsport to do the final alignment on the MX-5.

Dale suggested to corner weight the car, unfortunately despite the corner weighted set-up being perfect (I had a quick blat around the block and liked how it drove) I couldn’t live with how odd it’s stance looked so we ended up undoing the corner weighting work, and I’m more than happy to just settle for a really great wheel alignment.

I hit the track again next Tuesday. Should be hilarious fun as I’ve gotten Dale to give me a tail happy set-up. Post track report soon!

Up she goes!

Scales were placed under all 4 corners.

Hey Dale! I shot this from inside the car as Dale had to work on the corner weighting with me in the car.

Dale has such a cool mobile set-up!

The magic string came out to play.
