NZ based Taryn has been running iheartstance since 2010, a personal blog that she’s created to document her journey to becoming a true automotive enthusiast.
She started out with a BB but in 2011 she bought an NA Roadster, lovingly named the “Miatasaurus”. It’s a car that changed her life (has done so for so many myself included!). She got bitten by the JDM bug so bad that in 2011 she travelled to Japan to meet Rauh-Welt Begriff creator Nakai-san and she was even invited to an Idlers Games meet at Tsukuba.
The rest is history?!
She’s unfortunately sold her MX-5 (that’s surely got to hurt), but last year she co-purchased a 1975 Datsun 280Z as a joint project with her husband Pedey.
As well as running iheartstance, she writes for New Zealand Performance Car magazine and she’s an Associate Editor at Speedhunters.com too (nice!).
