For their first cruise of the year, the TOYMODS Car Club went west; the destination: The Bilpin Cider Cellar Door.
I rocked up to the twin servos on the M4 in #MoroTheStagea to find a group of Toyotas; smaller than expected, but still a good deal of variety.
After a quick briefing it was time to set sail, but I lost the convoy early on, then found an 86 that I thought was part of the cruise (turns out it wasn’t).
Failing to give up, I decided to just press on up through Richmond to Bilpin anyways.
Whilst on the way through Kurmond, I spotted Justin’s Levin on the side of the road. I pulled in and found that he was also waiting for the group.
Soon enough, we saw 2 W20 MR2s roll through, and it was time to get on the go pedal.
As we continued to roll up higher, we hit some low lying clouds which resulted in some amazing misty mountains.
Once we hit the Cellar Door it was time for a quick look through the field of cars that made it up those misty mountains.
Once we finally got inside, out of the rain, it was time for some cider tasting!!!
We got a taste of their whole range of 7 ciders. For the P platers and non-drinkers, they accomodate you with their non-alcoholic counterparts.
Next stop, as you should always do when in the vicinity, was The Pie In The Sky for lunch.
I bailed at this point, but most of the group ventured back to Sydney via Springwood road to top off the twisty roads. A good day out with just a slither of the Toymods crew.
