Cars & Coffee meets have become a bastion of car lovers all around the world. With a humble Sunday morning meet starting in Irvine California, its laid back and bring-what-you’ve-got ethos quickly spread to all corners of the globe.
The recipe is simple: a brisk early weekend morning, a hot cup of joe, and whatever four wheels you have sitting in your garage. Egos and automotive-elitism are left at home. Such is the spirit of Cars & Coffee, such is the spirit you will find on the second Saturday of every month on the RoadTrackRally skidpan in West Melbourne. This is possibly the most family friendly car event you’ll ever see. By all means, bring your children, bring your dog too!
Bikes are also more than welcome!
Saw quite a few HSV’s fitted with these “devil eye” headlights. They actually look pretty neat! Sat there for a while trying to capture each colour as they cycled through their sequence.
This old Jaguar definitely stuck out among the crowd.
A very tidy ZC6 indeed! Love the World Rally palette with the STI gold wheels.
A team of RTR stunt riders also provided some very impressive entertainment on a cordoned-off section of the skidpan!
This old Sunny was one of my favourite cars there, loved the miniature Sunny on the dash.
Seriously, everything is welcome at C&C!
Primal Garage’s RPS13 never gets any less impressive!
Melbourne C&C has been running for quite some time now, and admittedly, this was the first occasion in which I had decided to drive out and attend. Having now been, I’m honestly not sure what took me so long- and I will definitely be making this a monthly habit!
If you’re in Melbourne, I would highly recommend getting down to C&C, there’s truly something for everyone there. Stay up to date on their Facebook page, and hopefully I see you there on the second Saturday of July!
…No seriously, please bring your dog! :)
